I don't get it, you just started, how is there traffic already? Neutral

Besides that, awesome diversity of towers, plus they're all relatively the same height so it all fits perfectly. Plus, gotta love the water ways.

Very nice I like the gradual Increase in height as you move from the waters edge more inland! I would put a couple or a more manicured tree set between the road and the wall, make it POP lol

Trevy: They are JS seawalls on the stex.

About the capitol building: I liked the way it looked there and, since Troy is on a lake, not an ocean, its protected from enemies floating by and shooting at it, Lol.

Here's the region so far: (Yes, that is a Vancouver map)

Hey, at least the office workers get a good show every time a plane comes in for landing. Razz Kinda like how Sky Harbor is set up with Phoenix.

You've done a LOT of work. And those suburbs? Been there, done that, still doing it. lol

Guys, please. You think I don't know where to put an airport? Very Happy Lol. That is a mere government landing strip. For the first time I will be using a combination of Youtube tutorials, Simtropolis Airport Kits, and other things required to make a pretty airport and I will make an airport. cheers

But this update has nothing to do with that. In addition to making airports, I am attempting to make maps of Troy and other cities with inkscape and Photoshop. I have made a map of downtown Troy.

Haha guys. I was debating on putting them sideways or not. I liked the way they looked better when they were sideways.

@Ying: Thanks. Very Happy This was just kind of a test, I don't know if I'll actually be using it for anything.
@Kenny: -Rolls eyes- Thanks. Razz
@Carl: Thanks. :b
@Daniel: Thank you!

More of these soon. I'm still experimenting. I might open a new thread for them.

I like what you did on the city so far very much. Only thing that is a tiny bit weird is having this somewhat old looking capitol building all alone between these high modern office towers. It's not that it's between the office towers, rather that it's absolutely the only older building in the neighborhood.
