Site history:
History more in depth to come but the destroyed wall segment and all inside are the oldest, especially the houses since they are rarest to find in major cities like Taichung, outside is more modern history from Sanese style houses from the major Sanese Recovery, a major part in the history of Nilia and Albian. The wall is the same age as the destroyed section but in the Sanese Recovery wasn't applied as a Nilian Heritage Site until after, so it has been fixed up while keeping it's heritage.
Reasons for inclusion:
The Castle Walls are already protected and one of the oldest parts of the site apart from the houses, the castle is in fine shape for it's age and is sometimes still resided in by the Nilian royalty (which doesn't really care any more, they're more celebrity personalities). The houses are not resided in in the castle area and are for show but are the originals. The other houses of the Sanese Recovery shows a MAJOR part of Nilia and Albian's history but is common in many old towns.
