Unity is something that is needed, required, of a community, for, without it, the community will fail. The community will divide in upon itself, members getting at each other, friends disagreeing. The Roman author, Publilius Syrus, wrote in the first century before Christ, that "Where there is unity, there is always victory." We must unify now, we must grow and prosper with eachother, not without each other. We're in a trying time now, loosing so many important people in our community. It is essential we help each other, and stay strong through out this period. Every community in the world faces a great disruption, ours came in the form of a mass emigration, what defines that community is not what its disruption is or how it happened, what matters is how it responds, whether it grows to a more prosperous and powerful group, or whether it falls. Mahatma Gandhi said, “Unity to be real must stand the severest strain without breaking”. Our strain is the emigration, we must stand without breaking, we musn't let this snap our community's spine, we have to grow and become a more powerful union. What does union even mean? United! We must be united! We have to stand together, not fight with each other and grow! Baha'u'llah wrote in 1817 that "So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth." We must be the light of this whole community, the Sim City community. It is on the verge of dying, we must stand as a beacon of hope, of prosperity. We've done well so far, with our activity level reaching into the stars, rivaling even the unions of the Sim City Golden Age. We must continue to prosper, do well in these trying times.
We musn't lose faith, we must stand through this.
