Abgenel along with the Abbasid High Speed Rail Commission and the Abbasidi Railway Organization completed Abbasid's first high speed rail line in 1998. The company is based in Deira, Abbasid.

In 2012, Safa had 3,189 831 employees and produced 6,8931,711 vehicles, compared to 1,831 employess, 3,809 cars produced in 2011.

Surah

Surah Automobiles (Kabier:)  is an Abbasidi luxury sports car manufacturer based in Deira.  Founded by Rashid Sur in 1959. Rashid's stake in the company fell from 85% in 1981, to 15% in 1983, with rival company Safa becoming the largest shareholder (87%). The company is extremely participative  in racing, especially in Formula One, where it has had great success.
