The 1st and 2nd Pešiaci regiments of the Horný Tok Army in the southern part of the country with the 6th 3rd and 9th on standby ready for immediate mobilisation.

This has come after the recent GSK incursions to the Althena mainland. The Kallvard government has released a statement call this a precautionary measure and nothing to fear. The statement read: The recent actions in the south of Kallvarde concern us greatly, this is only a precaution and we are not expecting any conflict to break out.

In an interview with General Austi of the Dolný Tok Army revealed that Kallvarde has no plans to form and sort of hostility towards the GSK. "We haven't mobilised many men and barely any equipment has left stores, we do not want to fight an already destabilised Althena."

Everybody in Kallvarde is appointed to a regiment and a specific role within such regiment however this means that mobilisation does cause problems in the economy meaning that this mobilisation is unlikely to last any great length of time.

All your countries are always so militarized. Also, just thought about this, but what if Bergenstein got divided & Kallvard(e?) was one of the states formed? And yes, I know this is a terrible thread to pose this at.

Brrgenstein was divided and new states were created, look a the bergoabbasidi relations on the wiki for the most up to date histor, however kallvarde was nover occupied by bergy. Kallvarde is the country name and I am a militaristic person

Horný Tok literally means upper course, meaning the army is Called the Upper Course Army

Beginning just after Easter the armed forces of the Isterian Alliance have been performing their annual spring military live firing exercises. The exerciee have occurred every year in the month following easeter since 1930 when tensions in global politics rose to an upresadented scale. The live firing exercises include as accurate to realistically possible fighting conditions in both conventional and insurgent warfare.

The Kallvard government stressed explicitly that the drill were a regular occurance and recent politics had no reflection upon the military exercises which have been taking place.

In other news
The Kallvard government has discredited Bergenstein for it's lack of ability to deescalate the current crisis and for it's failure to stop violent crime from plaguing the Bergenstein streets. Officially Kallvarde does have an alliance with Bergenstein however when a secrete plea for help reached Kallvarde during Operation Last Christmas Kallvarde purposely ignored it. It is rumoured that the King of Kallvarde himself commented on the issue "Bergenstein is a failure, they are asking for invasion" however that quote has not been confirmed.

The current issue with Valisco and the GSK are unresolved with Kallvarde siding with no particular party. However other members of the Isterian Alliance do have alliances with several other smaller nations in the vicinity of the GSK.

Kallvarde today met with Follandan officials in an attempt to improve relations between the two parties, the two nations set up new trading agreements between the two nations. The King himself said, "This is a great day as we have not only increased our trading links but we have made friends with Folland. And that has got to be a positive thing." The other members of the Isterian Alliance are expected soon to also increase relations with Folland.
