If things turn more violent, Mitron is mulling over sending in a military force in support of the Traditionalists, to help secure a more rapid & secure peace.

Basically the Traditionalists like the government and the way everything is and the Modernists want change

Bergenstein as of yet is not in civil war but if that occurs we will happily accept

The government of Kuyrut formally advises the end to illegal forms of execution and would bring Bergenstein to court for its crimes if it chooses to continue.

If the coup leaders will not surrender themselves within four hours, he will declare them - along with all other so-called Traditionalists in the province - to be enemies of the state, effective from then.

(Do the Miensburghers even allow fourteen-year-olds like Prince William to lead their country? I smell a conspiracy afoot here. Razz)

And in a few short minuets the Royal Guard will arrest you and you will proceed to the Miet's Royal Prison. You may be directly in line to the throne but you are in no way fin to rule. Mitron has launched an attack force from Abassid (though Bergenstein doesn't know about this yet). It consists of 4 cargo planes full of 200 wing-gliders as well as paratroopers, each. There are also 10 VTOL/fixed wing aircraft en route also, full of approximately 25 troops each. The fighter escort consists of 2 squadrons of MAF HI-17s. They will all be in Bergenstein in approximately two hours.
The goal of this mission is to stop the executions, and attempt to take and hold the Royal grounds, where the coup d'état is happening, as well as to hold the execution grounds. The Mitronian Navy has a task force en route as well, and there is also a Grandian air task force incoming as well.

All Bergenstein States have mobilised their military due to information from Abassid. Though all states apart from Miensburg Declare neutrality. Miensburg has fighters already in the air and will shortly meet the invasion force

The Royal Abbasid Air force has scrambled fighters to intercept the Mitronian invasion force. Remaining Mitronian forces in Abbasid have been seized(?), any attack against Bergenstein will be seen as an attack against Abbasid.

This escalated rather quickly... Razz

A commotion in the crowd has briefly halted the executions, as Adalbert Bachmann, age 45, broke free from the group of condemned prisoners and - despite receiving several bayonet wounds - is making a break for freedom.

Adalbert Bachmann was then shot multiple times fatally. 10 Modernists tried to help him but were also killed


20 Modernists attempted to try and free the next person but have been arrested. They have been taken up to the staging and an Officer is shooting them one by one with a revolver

Paratroopers from the Imperial Federal Air Force have arrived in Mienenstadt and are currently working to secure the area, with support from the remaining IFAF jet fighters currently in the city.

An IFAF jet fighter was downed over central Mienenstadt, not far from the Margrave's Palace, after taking sustained damage from Countoni fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft emplacements. The pilot and copilot are both presumed lost.

Mitron has peacefully given in to all Abassidi troops... per the Mitron High Command, which wants no conflict with Abassid. Abassid is a great ally of Mitron, and we are in know way looking to end that great friendship. The Mitron chancellor promises there will be no attacks on any Abassidi troops on Abassidi soil...unless provoked.

16 Miet soldiers have unfortunately lost their lives and executions have been halted. 2 helicopters are on the way. Also Werdrecht is joining the fight. It has launched it's navel fleet

Unless Mienenstadt is a coastal city, I honestly don't see a navy being of much help in this battle Razz

Mitronian reinforcements are approximately 40 minutes out, slightly ahead of schedule.

Miensburg is Landlocked, I thought Chris had an aircraft carrier

The Imperial Federal Kingdom has scrambled nearly all fighter jets at the Mount Krasiva Air Force Base in Tarskaja to Mienenstadt, and is preparing a wave of paratroopers to assault the city as well. As of now, Bergenstein's seat in the Triple Alliance has been suspended indefinitely.

The diesel-powered aircraft carrier INS Victory, currently in the Sushili Sea, is heading towards Bergenstein as well.

The Werdrecht navy will reach the aircraft carrier shortly. Shwieset is mobilising heavy artillery towards the fighting as the riots are not as bad in Shwieset.

Trierenstien and Berge is sending large amounts of ground forces to meet the invasion force
