Belluterra would be fine with whatever missiles you have most readily available at present - it's not going to last more than a few days without help anyways. Razz

Well we have all WMD's ready and primed aha The HY and Regular would take 24 hours. We also have EMP missiles but I get the hint you want something destructive Wink

Destructive is right. Razz Assuming the ICBMs have multiple independently targetable warheads, how many targets can each missile strike? (For reference, the American Minuteman III rocket has three warheads in it, each capable of hitting a separate target.)

Belluterra to Marqualis (secure top-secret channel):
Since there are only ten or eleven major Grandian cities that we would want targeted (while you stated that you would launch c. 20 missiles - each of which presumably packs multiple warheads), you could fire a variety of nuclear, chemical, biological, etc. warheads just to make sure of the targeted areas being destroyed entirely.

Here is a basic map of Grand Island - everything south of Hillton or west of Seacliff is Grandian territory. Hillton, our capital city, is currently under siege, while the rest of Belluterra's major cities (save a few pockets of Seacliff) have already fallen.

First Minister (Kaskaskia & Insulo)

Kaskaskia has begun a comprehensive plan to get citizens into fortified safe zones called green zones and provide basic services. The Kaskaskian government and foreign embassies and officials are being housed in the Jonesboro green zone, which encompasses the most densely populated portions of the city. The government is currently working to secure and deploy more defensive and anti-projectile weapons to further protect the established green zones.

Kaskaskia would like to inform Okaiken that its embassy was evacuated during the evacuation of Belleville and had been moved to Jonesoboro. The Okaiken flag has been raised over a building that housed an architectural firm in downtown Jonesboro inside the green zone. Kaskaskia also would advise Okaiken to reinforce it's security at it's embassy, as currently it is being supplemented by Kaskaskian special forces but they may need to be moved elsewhere as we struggle to hold the city.

Kaskaskia also would like to express that at this time we do not believe civilian evacuations will be possible. The government does believe that many people have fled illegally over the border into Shayden and urges Shayden to harbor these people as refugees.

Insulo urges all parties against the use of weapons of mass destruction. The Senate of Insulo has officially approved a declaration of war against Bellluterra to help protect our Grandian allies. The Senate has also initiated significant sanctions against the nations of Acadia and Marqualis.

No nukes yet please! XD And I do think it was unrealistic for Brullen to be involved in this war in any way except sanctions and aid to other nations, unless Trentannia invades them, and Trentannia is mine in this situation. Razz

Acadia will be staying out of the Belluterra conflict.

Acadia continues to move north in Folland, targeting the capital city.

Several evacuated towns have been flattened near the border of Fraesia.

The Acadian forces continue to move farther into Kaskaskia, but suffered many losses from surprise guerrilla-warfare attacks.

Trentannia has stationed large amounts of defense on its border with Brullen, but has engaged in no military conflict.

We're only a few days into the war, so not much could have happened yet. Is everyone okay with fast-forwarding a week or two?

Kaskaskia personally would prefer things go slow, fast forward means more losses for us. Razz

However, I'm fine with that, but we could probably say we've already done that. There seem to be some pretty sudden movements going on that would make sense stretched out over a week than in just a couple days.

Yeah, I'm just not patient with these things. Razz And with such slow movement they would be detected early enough to be stopped. That Brullen invasion was lol worthy. Razz

LOL

Okaiken has been informed of the evacuation of embassy staff to Jonesboro. The Government has sent 30 troops to guard the Embassy in Kaskaskia and requires the approval of Folland and Acadia to let the neutral sided troops pass through Air. Applications from the embassy will continue until further notice.

Acadia will allow Okaiken to enter Acadian and Fraesian airspace for a promise to stay out of the war.

Brullen would like to aid Kaskaskia in the defense of its country. Also to maintain security in the region Peacekeepers are being sent to Grand to asses the situation. Brullen has placed harsh sanctions on Marqualis and urges them to stop the Artillery. We are growing increasingly worried about the Trentannians building forces.

No don't speed it up Razz and no hooker strikes from now Smile

Grand:
The Royal Kingdom of Grand thanks its allies for their assistance, and hopes to capture the Belluterran capital once and for all soon. Our projections indicate that it should fall sometime within the next 60 hours at most. There's no stopping us now!

Belluterra:
Marqualis has just pledged its assistance to our glorious nation. There's no stopping us now!

Malo:
We have just learned that Kaskaskia is a landlocked country, and as such are trying to figure out what to do with the fleet that we have sent to aid our ally.

LOL Daniel! XD Just learned that it is landlocked. Razz It's just going to have to sit there and wait, I guess. Or I may just sink the fleet if I feel like it.

They could Try, but would most likely be beaten very badly. Has Grand declared war on us or not?

Malo supports Kaskaskia, and views any attacks on it as attacks on itself, so...yeah? Razz

Grand (which is still a seperate country in this alternate universe) hasn't done so yet, though Kaskaskia is also an ally of it. Belluterra, on the other hand, would probably side with Acadia. Wink

After several days, the battle for Hinali is lost. Invading Marqualis forces overwhelm defending units who are forced to fall back to the East away from the coast. What's left of the Cilician fleet sails south to Kristinsund Naval Base for Rearmament and Repair, since it is still intact.

Chancellor Moen, Prime Minister Andella, and the High council set up a temporary Government and Command and Control center in an unknown location in the southern tundra, hoping the terrain and weather will impede the enemy from locating and attacking.

On the Eastern front, Divisions of the Folland Army are holding their ground in Central Fraesia against reinforcing Acadian forces. It is seen that Folland is in no position to help Kaskaskia as ground forces are locked in a defensive action in Fraesia while Close Air Support out of Chetal and Oboden may not be possible anymore due to Acadian air raids. Folland Jet Fighters will continue to operate out of those airbases for as long as possible.

The Brullen Government had today announced a declaration of war on Marqualis. For the threats of WMDs and the attacks on Kaskaskia and Folland.

The 46th Army Corps has been sent to Folland to reinforce the remaining forces and the Aircraft stationed in Kuyrut will begin patrols over Marqualis.
