Welcome to the New IATA Airline Registry, Provided to you by the Transportation Ministry.
IATA is an international trade body, created over 60 years ago by a group of airlines. Today, IATA represents some 240 airlines comprising 84% of total air traffic. The organization also represents, leads and serves the airline industry in general. IATA will be representing USNW's airlines and airports, and will also lead in aircraft safety and management.
Here is the new format for the Airline Registry, replacing the outdated airline format provided by IACA (International Aiports Codes Organization of Adonia):
*Note: Certain combinations of letters are not allocated to avoid confusion with other systems (for example SOS). Other designators (particularly those starting with G and Y) are reserved for government organizations or Military. Designator ZZZ is used for operators that do not have a code allocated.
