Terrorist Organization "Loyalist Front" throws threats Shayden's Way

Earlier tonight, the terrorist organization "Loyalist Front" has made a public statement that they are done with Shayden's harassment, and are now "in a state of war" against the nation. Shayden hasn't responded to the statement yet, and it is unsure whether they will or not.

This has not been the first time the group has made threats, they have made threats constantly in the past few weeks. More updates when they come.

Any attack on Shayden will be recognized as an attack on Acadia. The AIA is currently investigating this group.

BREAKING NEWS: Factory in Shayden Bombed, then Attacked with Gunfire

Overnight, a factory in Corsto, Massinette was bombed then sprayed with gunfire, killing at least 42 workers at the factory and injuring 28.

Police cannot estimate how many people died from the bomb or gunfire separately at this time. Two of the suspects have been killed in a gun battle with SWPT and another has been captured severely wounded. The other two suspects are currently being hunted for.

Terrorist group "Loyalist Front" has taken responsibility for this attack on their website, saying: "This has been an act of justice, and is only the beginning of the liberation".

Shayden President Ronald Smith mourns the loss of 42 lives, and said in a statement: "They (Liberation Front) will not get away with this. They just signed their death warrants".

Many other states in Shayden have beefed up security, particularly in major cities. We will bring you more news when we get it.

Acadia is in the process of locating these rebel camps and planning on eventually removing their threat.

The Chancellor of Mitron sends his condolences to the families of the victims.

These attacks are seen as an attack on Mitron's well-being. In order to protect economic, as well as diplomatic ties, we are declaring the "Loyalist Front" as terrorists, and are prepared to eliminate these threats to our well-being if any other attacks are made on any Euphemian nation. You have been warned, "Loyalist Front". This attack has been taken very seriously. Efforts are also being made at locating the origins of their website, which was already under watch by the MBI (Mitronian Bureau of Intelligence).

Okaiken has yet to make a decision about the group, and prefers to stay out unless the conflict goes out of control.

Terrorist Group "Loyalist Front" Promises more Attacks against Shayden, Allies

Terrorist Group "Loyalist Front", responsible for the bombing at Corsto, has made a statement on their website promising more attacks against Shayden and nations who condemn their (Loyalist Front) actions. Shayden authorities are still hunting for the other two members responsible who escaped that night. The terrorist captured is in the hospital in critical condition. Cities all over the nation have beefed up security to prevent another successful attack.

Jack's gone gung-ho again. Razz Bombers against domestic rebels? I'm saying this in honest roleplay fashion at the moment's current events. Who knows what this will cascade into. Just then your bombers might be used.

Mitron agrees with the above statement from Folland. Although these rebels appear to be a threat, bombers seem a little overboard. What exactly are you planning to bomb? The MBI has intel on possible locations, but they aren't confirmed. We can't risk bombing civilians and turning public support to these bunch of terrorists. We respectfully ask for withdrawal of these bombers to their home base(s).

Okaiken does not think that bombing is a viable option, especially when bombing a foreign territory without consent. I think it is Shayden's responsibility if they allow the addition of troops in the area, but with Shayden having a considerable amount of policing, they should be able to deal with the situation quickly.

The Marqualis foreign affairs office would like to send its condolences to the families of this attack and condemns the "loyalists front" attacks on innocent civilians. Marqualis will also be stepping up security in its cities as well as any airline, rail or ferry/ships heading into and out of Shayden and Marqualis and as such would like to request assistance with the matter from the Shayden coast guard.

Infamous Loyalist Front Attempt Bank Robbing/Hostage Situation

Ends in failure as Shayden Forces end terrorist attack.

Shayden Protection Forces have just intervened in an attempted bank robbing/hostage situation. This comes exactly a month after a bombing of an industrial complex in Massinette. This failed heist in Monsaintallen was expected to be used to help pay off for recent arms purchases by the group.

At this moment, five of the seven terrorists are dead, and two are at the hospital. One is severely wounded, and the other is in critical condition.

Two SATF members were injured, though their injuries are not severe. No hostages were injured. SATF Director Hank Miller stated in a press conference: "It really couldn't have gone better." earlier this evening.

Shayden warns other countries of possible Loyalist Front attacks, following the bank robbery which occurred in Acadia last week.

Shayden Government has decided to give Marqualis aid from its West Coast.

Loyalist Front Gains Ground in West Althena/Euphemia, Grows Weaker in Shayden

As the Loyalist Front loses ground in Shayden, the Loyalist Front is seeking to gain influence in other countries. The Loyalist Front is gaining influence in Western Althena (especially Posillipo) and is trying to gain ground in the rest of Euphemia.

Acadia will begin a secret program to infiltrate the Loyalist front with double agents. The goal is to track down these camps and find out their leaders.

LOL no it was not a publicly released statement. I thought that was understood. Razz It's just to make our members aware that it is happening in the background. In RP, the Euphemian Bloc is probably the only group that knows.

Shayden Federal Council Proposes Bill to Fully Legalize Same-Sex Marriage

Federal Council is now drafting up a Bill which would legalize Same-Sex Marriage for all states in Shayden. Representative Dan Cook (Arona-L) stated: "We are a nation of equality and prosperity. We would only be playing catch-up if we decided to legalize this bill anytime besides now."

Twenty-Nine States in Shayden currently have Same-Sex Marriage legalized, and this bill is expected to be passed due to interest in not only the twenty-nine states, but also the remaining six.
The Bill is expected to go to vote on the 17th, and would go into effect in September of this year.
