you guys realize that the sun is just another star, right? there are billions of stars in the milky way galaxy alone. i named ours solarus.

the kuiper belt won't work. planet Earth is on what's known as the Goldilocks zone and is the only planet in the Solar System to be within it.

I guess any star would be nice, just as long it's Sol-like, and especially not the Beteguese kind if you know what I mean. Also, thinking about earlier posts about not caring about Earth, how would Grand, AIN, etc. even know about USNW, RL speaking? Just asking, I'm not against Grand or AIN, I'm just wondering how that would work out.

you know Karasem, Catalla, Lithuania and Grand are from earth and those are observer.. idk then how it would work. perhaps using ultra/mega/super sonic radio frequency. Razz

Also I wonder if they put Sondonesia in Adonia as Karasem in Earth..

First of all grand has moved to Adonia now. Secondly, the relationships with ain and observers happen essentially the same way the simlympics are wing hosted on Adonia, it just happens, no explanation. This avoid confusion and overcomplication, and it's best I think if that stays that way I do believe however that we need to establish at least a name for our star and a solar system layout.

About how AIN and observers will know about USNW, we aren't really getting to technical about this, it's just going to happen, we're not going to use cheesy "Super Space Flight" stuff, it'll just happen and we won't worry about it.

Edit: Also, I think we should let Matt (androidboi) handle this and finish his proposal with a full solar system lay out, ect,, because he sure seems to know what he's talking about.

Edit 2: I'm moving this to the Adonia Discussion forum.

Magic is the only logical explanation.

I've agreed with Jon that there won't be any communication or role play between our nations, which I've had to repeat numerous times to people. As Jon says, there's no explanation for the relationship between Earth observers and Adonia nations. Just leave it at that and don't try and complicate it.

Focus on actually finding a place to put your system. It'd probably be best if you completely ignore our solar system as well - 8/9 planets, asteroid belts and specific planet properties aren't necessary to include. The only thing you will need is a Goldilocks zone and a medium sized star with a few billion years worth of hydrogen left in it.

I like the idea of asteroid belts though... maybe have three?

Fire Belt
Central Belt
Great Belt

OK, I'll stop argueing, and simply get to the point, I apologize. Dan, Fire belt would be a belt really close to the star? Central Belt would probably be like the main astroid belt on the Sol system, and Great belt be the Kuiper belt and Oort cloud combined?

Yeah.... thanks for completely ignoring what I said.

Quit getting of the subject, and let Matt finish his proposal.
