Esdikkom Event (DISCUSSION)

I've got a ting of need in terms of our real roleplay since it's dead quiet on the planet of Adonia, besides the events unfolding in our friend Tampuchea. I've also sinister happenings, and space on the brain, so here's this.

Earth has the Tunguska Event, so let's have an Esdikkom Event. An unknown object from space is on a crash course to Adonia. It's large enough to place worry and it's projected landing site is southern Euphemia. Scientific and Damage Control teams from Folland and Acadia stage near the point of impact. The object falls to Adonia in a blaze and impacts the Tundra with a blast, causing a similar Tunguska Event.

The object lands near the west coast, and the shock wave causes tidal waves that race north, flooding some Folland cities.

Should this happen? What else should happen. ALIENS.

Oh god. The 'aliens as a last resort cuz the union is dying' card. I never thought I'd see the day.

I'm not fussed either way. But I'm sure someone is going to have something to say about it.

If you add the aliens that could totally change the course of how everything in Adonia goes. I say no. But I don't make the decisions.

Just a question: This event would lead to a massive alien invasion or would be just like an isolated event? I love the idea, either way

This is pretty cool. Acadia's space technology is really inferior to Folland's; we like to focus on bombs, planes, and big tanks. So we'd have to work with you and the Eskimos on this one, Mike.

Acadia would like to become a partner with Folland in investigating the situation. A fund is being set aside to aid flood victims in Folland and tribes in Esdikkom.

So, this is confirmed? And also, what would remote tribes do with money? Lol.

Also, Mitron would like to receive permission from the parties in command of this operation to send over a research team. We will also be sending aid in to anyone affected.

Jack is jumping the gun a bit there. This hasn't been confirmed yet. Plus the "ALIENS" was just mainly a joke, but if a majority was serious about it, we cannot let it be cheesy and unprepared.

I was just mainly looking for a similar Tunguska event, big explosion, environmental effects, some weird not-of-this-Adonia crap found in the material at the crater.

Oh ok. By fund I mean money to buy supplies to repair things, I don't know. XD Trying to be nice.

I had a plan on an international terrorism roleplay, but I decided to postpone it since the recent happenings.

Let the ideas role Kurt, no matter the circumstances. We can't let LIFE, get us down. *grr*

I was thinking of a terrorist group who attack many nations though out Adonia. They would attempt to bomb, take hostages, rob banks, and do whatever to survive and take power. The most that would happen to any USNW nation or a stronger nation in general would be casualties and a few terrorist attacks. Though the very weak nations would be swallowed and taken over.

To a point this group would be a Taliban, only more international and without any religious affiliation.

Acadia is working on stopping terrorists in Esdaad. But those are radical islamist. Where would these people be from?

If they take over countries, would it be like we could almost be waging these big wars?

Sounds like the setup to a global organization of evil! Where are the Incredibles when you need them.
