Welcome to the 2014 World Expo!! As you all know, this event was begun over a century ago at the first World Expo in 1912. The World Expo not only helps to promote better relations between nations and a growth of world peace, but nations also get a great opportunity to showcase their cultures, innovations, and lifestyles. We hope to have as many nations participate in the 2014 World Expo. The host nation as well as city will be picked by our committee on Sunday.
OOC: To participate in the 2014 World Expo, simply enter your participating nation’s name below and submit pictures to Chris. In order to have maximum enjoyment at the time of the World Expo, refrain from sharing what you will be entering with other people. Simply PM or Skype Chris links to the pictures. Pictures to be showcased can involve a broad variety of topics, from technological innovations (software, devices, gaming, vehicles, helicopters, cars, etc.) to culture (architecture, traditions, dances, etc.), to lifestyle (shots of cities, towns, sports, literature, etc.). Basically, if it has to do with your nation, it should be ok. You can submit up to (5?) pictures, although that’s a very loose limit, I just would like to refrain from having one nation with, say, 20 pictures, hogging the entire spotlight.
