Oaxac City bid for Usong 2013
Ciudad de Oxacméla

Oaxac City is one of the most important cultural centers in the world, boasting more museums than any other city in Adonia. It also comes third in the number of theaters in the world, just after Stretton and Harrison City. Having been the capital of a vast pre-Insulonian empire, and also the capital of richest viceroyalty within the Insulonian Empire (ruling over a vast territory in the Euph-Itzamnas), and, finally, the capital of the Oxacmelan federation, Oaxac City has a rich history of artistic expression.
Oaxac City is a perfect location for the Usong 2013, as the city exemplifies, with its marvelous and expansive culture and history, and the beauty of the arts; especially of music.
Oaxac City, founded more than a thousand years ago by the Tlajotli civilization in 524 C.E. This city has heard music throughout the ages, from traditional styles and Insulonian barroque styles to the now, modern and "hip" electronic and pop styles. Oaxac City, being the center of attention and the dream of many international artists, hosting this Usong would be a dream come true, and a very beautiful one indeed.

VENUE

The National Auditorium, Auditorio Nacional is an entertainment centre located at Paseo de la Reforma #35, Papalotlepec in Oaxac City right in front of the Nocolpa hotel zone next to Campo Adonia.

The National Auditorium, a main site in Oxacmela is considered amongst the top Auditoriums in the world. There are carried out music concerts, art shows, theater productions and dance among other genres. It's capacity is just above 10,000. Being the biggest of it's kind in Insulonian Euph-Itzamna.

Transportation

Oaxac City counts with many ways of public transportation and other similar styles.
The metro system, which is the largest in the Euph-Itzamnas, serves to currently 4.2 million people every day, being one of the most used metro systems in the world. Several stations display pre-Insulonian artifacts and architecture that were discovered during the metro's construction. It is heavily subsidized, and has the lowest fares in the world, each trip costing 3.00 itzas ($0.233) and taking each passenger to almost any place in the city from 05:00 am to midnight.

The city also counts with multiple bus rapid transit systems, connecting the venue with multiple hotels and the airport.

Electric transport other than the metro also exists, in the form of several Oaxac City trolleybus routes and the Light Rail line.

The local government continuously strives for a reduction of massive traffic congestion, and has increased incentives for making a bicycle-friendly city. This includes Euphemia's second-largest bicycle sharing system, EcoBici, launched in 2010, in which registered residents can get bicycles for 45 minutes with a pre-paid subscription of 300 itzas ($23.304) a year. There are, as of September 2013, 276 stations with 4,000 bicycles across an area stretching from the Historic center to Nocolpa.

Oaxac City is served by Oaxac City International Airport.. This airport is Euph-Itzamna's busiest and largest in traffic, with daily flights to Shayden and Acadia, mainland Oxacmela, Isthmusan Itzamna and the Xteplaa, North Itzamna, Althena, Neridea and Carreon. Aeroxacméla is based at this airport, and provides codeshare agreements with non-Oxacmelan airlines that span the entire globe. It is used by over 24 million passengers per year. This traffic exceeds the current capacity of the airport, which has historically centralized the majority of air traffic in the country.

An alternate option is Lic. Jorge Mateos Fernandez International Airport located in the nearby Telpan, State of Oxacmela with about 3.7 million passengers transported last year.

Um, you don't necessarily need a lot of photos, just prove that you can bid it, which involves creativity and wit Wink
