Yeh it is, that is one of the reasons that most people use their states currency. Though I was thinking of putting a seal on it

Many currencies would just destabilize your economy, i'm not quite sure you're seeing the realistic side of the spectrum on how your economy would be affected by having to maintain different currencies...

Many currencies could be a historical thing if you want Wink - but yeah, in the modern day, a country with multiple currencies wouldn't exactly have a stable economy. You could use the Enieo (basically the USNW Euro) along with the Skiler, though; I think several countries did that with their national currency and the Euro while phasing out their old currency over a course of a couple years, so it could work Razz

You should use the Enieo. Razz It's realistic and, frankly, logical.

One thing I will not adopt is the enieo, for the simple reason as I hate the euro. Also you have to think of each state as a separate economy. This actually does stablise it as is one area has a localised ressesion then the rest of bergenstein is not as greatly affected. In bergenstein the currency is seen as a peice of identity, identity yo your state, as you have seen the states are not that unified in the sence they like to be seen as separate.

Your whole idea is unrealistic. Multiple currencies would destabilize and cause major problems for the economy. So either you work on your currencies so they only use one, or you deal with the destabilized economy.

^Ditto

The reason for a single currency for the whole country is the fact that you don't have to go to a western union to exchange for money (trust me, you have never seen a remittance transaction before). Also, local currencies can easily destabilize the national economy because did you know that your national currency is the official currency for the foreign exchange. You can use the local currency as a form of tax evasion, greatly affecting your national economy.

"Their economies are therefore rather unstable; that volatility is likely to discourage investment spending and this consequently will lower long-term economic growth.

Secondly the schemes arguably displace trade – and economic theory is quite clear on the benefits of trade, in that it increases consumer choice, improves firm productivity and so forth" [1]

Okaiken Colour printers have started printing counterfeit Bergenstein local currencies, destabilizing the economy of Bergenstein.

Check:

to see what secure money looks like.

They are still highly easy to counterfeit is what he meant. There needs to be more security measures to make it more secure like the En or Sent. Though even if you have secured state currencies that won't help the problem of tax evaders.

Watermarks, Fine-Line Printing Patterns, etc. Maybe look it up on the internet and use real world currencies as examples.

I have, but a fine line can still be replicated by a printer (a decent one anyway). Also how am I to put a water mark on?
