History:
The nation today known as Bergenstein had quite a rough and complicated history.  It started as a small group of tribes centered around the Wiez river.  After the fall of the Calibrian Empire, these tribes began to expand outwards and develop into prosperous feudal kingdoms.  Several wars, marriages, and unions took place between the Bergenstein kingdoms, leading to a more powerful united culture in the region.
After the Renaissance, the feudalism in these kingdoms began to decline and trade began to incline.  As the years went on, the Bergenstein kingdoms emerged as modernized powerful states.  In 1855, the Treaty of Gartenburg unified the remaining Bergenstein kingdoms that had not joined the Brullen Federation.  Bergenstein was now a united group of states prospering along with their neighbors.
By 1933, Brullen was an increasingly aggressive fascist empire.  The peace on Adonia ended with the Invasion of Bergenstein on October 1, 1933.  After 67 days of resistance, Bergenstein surrendered to its aggressors, and was subsequently annexed into the Brullen Empire along with Grand Aescail.  Its soldiers were forced to fight for Brullen in the GAW, after it began in 1947. Many didn't however going on to join resistance forces for the remainder of the war.
The Liberation of Bergenstein commenced on 1st of April, 1952.  Acadian and Posilliponian troops simultaneously invaded the country from both sides, driving out the Brullen soldiers and beginning to occupy the nation.  At the end of the GAW, some parts of western Brullen were ceded to Bergenstein, and Bergenstein was free to, once again, govern itself.
Today, Bergenstein...

History with Grand

In 1583 traders began trading intensively with Grand. The ties between Bergenstein and Grand got a lot stronger and as a result the royal families started to intermix with each other. [insert some more stuff]. When the First Khwint War (1772-1784) trouble started a major discussion started up about the right cause of action, this subsequently started the civil war in Bergenstein, The war of the twelve. These are how things played out in alliance terms, Duchy of Mantaines went with Berge, Woial went with Trierenstien, Tarlok went with Verana, Kamtal with Shwieset, Salemo with Coutony, Kumer Krak and Kilitie with Danskmarkensweg Litheniant, Zeint with Werdrecht, Erol with Brendenland, Orwak with Cellmradon, Temart with Miensburg, Monseil and New Wenneseux with Lorona. Very simple. After that messy affair and in Bergenstein no real boarder changes life went on. In the second Khwint War Bergenstein allied with the United Kingdom of Grand, but unfortunately the war was lost mainly due to a lack of uniformity between the state’s military which is still present today. Bergenstein had to pay a large sum of money as compensation for the war to the victors.Third Khwint war went a little more successfully and this time with Grand won, good job a lot of money was spent on intelligence before the event. Bergenstein was officially omitted into the triple alliance in 1974 which only strengthened friendships.

Welcome back Agunter Smile

First, you misspelled your nation's name in your title.

Second, you misspelled your nation's name in your map.

Third, a monarchy can't be absolute and constitutional.

Wikipedia wrote:Constitutional monarchy is a form of government in which a monarch acts as head of state within the guidelines of a constitution, whether it be a written, uncodified, or blended constitution. This form of government differs from absolute monarchy in which an absolute monarch serves as the source of power in the state and is not legally bound by any constitution and has the powers to regulate his or her respective government.

Fourth, Hans Bornberger is the speaker of which house of your "bicameral" legislature, the Reichstag or the "Counsel of Monarchs" or the "lesser Counsel". I'm not sure what you mean by counsel. A counsel means an opinion. If you meant council, then a council is a group of people who come together to consult, deliberate, or make decisions.

Fifth, that's a tricameral legislature and it is very rare in real life and existed only for a short period of time in South Africa for example. Explications over the form of your legislature would be needed in the future.

Sixth, it's unrealistic to have currencies for every of your states since a) you already have a nation-wide currency and b) no one would bother use regional currencies if they can all just use the national one which will ease domestic trades.

Please fix these issues and your application will be better Smile

I'll be voting yes when the time comes, but your application could still use a little clean-up Wink

"Low King Bergon IIIXXX" should either be "Low King Bergon XXVII" (Bergon the 27th), or "Low King Bergon XXXIII" (Bergon the 33rd), for starters. Razz

The nations
Name: Low Kingdom of Berge

Capital City: Bergenburg
Population: 6,530,874
Language: Bergen,
GDP per capita: $49,376
Currency: Mark,
Head of State: Low King Bergon IIIXXX
Motto: We unite
Motto2: Development is key, to recognition
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.759
Internet TLD: .be
Summary: This country has a strong industrial sector and and a growing commercial sector. The cities are will planned and built. The army is well drilled and is formidable. As the most modern country it is seen to be the main part of Bergenstien. Many other members dislike this greatly

Ok, lets start with this nation -- by looking at it generally the nation does have some issues when it concerns its GDPpc, where most nations with larger industrial sectors compared to service - commerce, it should have a lower GDP since there is much less wealth. (Gdppc of 26,900 or less)
Name: The Grand Duchy of Litheniant

Capital City: Mingenad
Population: 3,857,484
Language: Lithen
GDP per capita: $37,647
Currency: Lighten,
Head of State: Grand Duke Guvaniona II
Motto: To the fields
Motto2: Second class, Never!, well certainly no more
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.701
Internet TLD: .li
Summary: This country has always been seen as the underdog but these days that is not always true, the people are also sick of this title. They have some of the most important cities in the region and have a strong military. Farming is still the main industry though

This nation has too high of a GDP for farming to be its primary industry. Wealth should be much less. (GDPpc of 17k or less and a much lower HDI) Agrarian Societies aren't very developed.

Lorona:

Name: Vis-Duchy of Lorona

Capital City: Larona
Population: 1,772,874
Language: Shwiese
GDP per capita: $50,755
Currency: Thaughten
Head of State: Vis-Duke Lora-Palona I
Motto: Restraint
Motto2: We are ourselves
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.838
Internet TLD: .lo
Summary: This nation is a secluded nation of secrete cut off communities it attracts tourist but the country has yet to realise it's potential. It is mainly made up of islands and lakes. The government often forgets about the mainland section
I don't know what to say about this country other than to explain more of it, because at the moment it sounds like some character from an anime.

Shwieset:

Name: March of Shwieset

Capital City: Zien
Population: 644,684
Language: Shwiser
GDP per capita: $51,677
Currency: Schwiler
Head of State: Margrave Montanoba
Motto: We just simply don't give in
Motto2: Freedom in everyday life, bring happieness, which is exactly what a government wants, isn't it sire?
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.891
Internet TLD: .sw
Summary: This is a mountainous nation with small villages dotted all around. Cattle farming is big business and so is the Ski industry. It gets many tourists making the area very rich. A major banking sector only boosts it's coffers

Cattle Farming does not make such a high GDP even with tourism. 6k or less GDPpc is recommended.

Trierenstien:

Name: Arch-County of Trierenstien

Capital City: Tristadt
Population: 3,894,769
Language: Trieren
GDP per capita: $48,475
Currency: Mark,
Head of State: Arch-Countess Valmere IX
Motto: We have Strength and the people
Motto2: Our cities, the best, are growing
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.759
Internet TLD: .ti
Summary: A nation which in theory should be the most powerful is not due to a not so good quality of life. The government is very unpopular and has been for centuries. The land is flat and the majority is arable farmland.

If the quality of life isn't good the HDI should be way less, and the GDP way lower (8-12k)

Danskmarkensweg:

Name: Vis-Kingdom of Danskmarkensweg

Capital City: Copteburg
Population: 5,736,739
Language: Swansk

Human Development Index (HDI): 0.793
Internet TLD: .ds

A nation based off of fishing and farming should not have such a high GDP or HDI (8-20k)

Population: 3,778,844
Language: Drecht
GDP per capita: $49,654

Motto2: Power, another word for corruption
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.704
Internet TLD: .ct
Summary: A small country which has recently gained freedom from its neighbours after pressure from certain members. Little development has occurred which has left the nation with little. Farming is still the main industry.
This nation is ok, maybe some gdppc drop.

Cellmradon:

Name: Kingdom of Cellmradon
Capital City: EmmenBough
Population: 746,647
Language: Call
GDP per capita: $28,744
Currency: Fout
Head of State: King Mallon VII
Motto: For Cellmradon
Motto2: Charge
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.643
Internet TLD: .cl
Summary: A baron land made of small tight nit communities living in small villages. The cities are modern though, this nation has a history of clan warfare, the clans still exist but in a ceremonial way not political. Though during the annual national sporting event the clans once again fight, but for a cup and trophy this time.
This nation is odd, for a nation which is practically a confederacy run by clans, its gdp should be lower aswell as its HDI. The state itself should be similar to Somalia but European.

Brendenland:

Name: Regal Earldom of Brendenland

Capital City: Elgon
Population: 754,746
Language: Emmem
GDP per capita: $28,744

Summary: A nation based on tradition has the best military out of all the nations. The men are extremely well disciplined. The government is popular and held in well regard. The weather is generally bad and moaned about regularly. The navy is formidable.
This nation is fine.

Verana:

Name: Verana

Population: 1,111
Language: Ver
GDP per capita: $48,744
Currency: Ver lire (Verlire)
Head of State: Dodge Virenty
Motto: The sea is everything
Motto2: Aspirations are vital
Human Development Index (HDI): 0.826
Internet TLD: .ve
Summary: A nation built around the sea. The nation has it's capital city built in the sea, on wood infact. This nation is a trading one. Has the best (claimed by other Bergenstien nations) but very small navy
I don't know what to say about this, can you provide more information on it?

Finally the main nation itself - listen to what blakeway said, but uh, a nation of primarily agrarian societies should not be so economically powerful. The state itself is a somewhat confederal, in that each of the states have their own power. I suggest rethinking the GDP and GDPpc which should be leaning in the 20k area.

I also used that term, and I used it with the idea that the High King had absolute power within the restraints of a constitution, which is completely realistic.

Diogenes wrote:Fifth, that's a tricameral legislature and it is very rare in real life and existed only for a short period of time in South Africa for example. Explications over the form of your legislature would be needed in the future.

*cough* Insulo *cough* And bicameral and unicameral legislatures are only so popular because most of the world either uses an American or a Westminster style of government. The number of houses in a legislature doesn't make it unrealistic.

For the currency one, I heck struggle to choose between the En and the Enieo so yeah it is unrealistic to keep those currencies you have there.

I agree with what people have said since, an agrarian nation could not have such a high GDP... It should have the bulk of its GDP towards the manufacturing and services industry. An agrarian nation will also drop the HDI, the GINI and the GDP per capita (I will explain to you in a paragraph). Looking with that high amount of GDP it could have come from those high paying jobs, not from grains of crop (real life experience here, my grandparents preferred my parents to go to the city to look for high paying jobs in business (a service) and in steelworks (manufacturing)).

Another reason why GDP per capita is low for the agrarian families is due to the split of income in a huge family. If you divide a 100000 crop income to a family of 20 (here's a tip from my late grandfathers, and has been in this way in my country: more babies, more help in the farm; I have 11 aunts and uncles from dad, 12 from my mom.), you will get an income of 5000. Compare that income to a family of 5 with incomes of 20000 each, you will see quite a significant difference in income. So yeah, high GDP per capita, won't work, unless they literally farm bars of gold.

I liked the idea of having states. Crying I think you should just do a little research on countries that are made up of small states that were formerly kingdoms, and their governments.

States of Germany - Wikipedia

Countries of the UK - Wikipedia

Uh, with that economy I still suggest a lower GDP, also you can't really export services, (well you can but it does not really effect the GDP since its usually international - would contribute to other nation's gdp). Uh probably a gdppc of 20-27k.

Medium GDPpc is not bad, especially 20-27k which is the global standard.
