The Stock Exchange Feature is Coming Back to USNW! This is an attempt to set the organization apart from the other ones Laughing.

This is a thread for discussing what algorithms (formulas) that we can use for the stock market.

It's simple really, now that we have the stock exchange.

On the Post Reply Section put a post and just below the "Send" Function you will see Closing Bell. Choose one (or two, or all) in the selection and put the number of Dice rolls to "20"

Aside from that, we need a formula for the risks D:

It's like gambling, there are risks and advantages. Razz That's how the roleplay thing works. My requested formula will be below (Stock Broker)

As you can see both I and the Stock Broker have stock market values. You can edit your stock market values by going to Profile > Stock Market Razz

#1 'High Risk' : 72, 26, 81, 146, 171, 6, 83, 180, 106, 146, 94, 148, 86, 122, 61, 64, 159, 200, 88, 191

--------------------------------

#2 'Medium Risk' : 36, 85, 169, 95, 71, 142, 84, 105, 90, 162, 66, 164, 136, 7, 55, 96, 70, 39, 36, 175

--------------------------------

#3 'Low Risk' : 45, 41, 35, 56, 38, 92, 87, 74, 85, 80, 23, 63, 92, 63, 91, 26, 80, 1, 21, 21

Okay, this is my requested formula:
You have a choice between high risk, medium risk and low risk.

For High Risk, If the first number is odd, then it's a decrease, if it's even, it's an increase. Add the all the numbers from 100-225 and then divide it by 2. This should get your value.

For Medium Risk, If the first number is even, then it's a decrease, if it's odd, it's an increase. Add the all the numbers from 50-100 and then divide it by 2. This should get your value.

For Medium Risk, If the first number is odd, then it's a decrease, if it's even, it's an increase. Add the all the numbers from 0-50 and then divide it by 2. This should get your value.

Okay, for my low risk, it's an odd number, so I decrease. Add it up and divide it by 2

T_T It's not that hard Neutral

High Risk Numbers:
72, 26, 81, 146, 171, 6, 83, 180, 106, 146, 94, 148, 86, 122, 61, 64, 159, 200, 88, 191

Bold is an even. Your market value will be increasing since it's even (2,4,6,8,0), that means you add... Odd number (1,3,5,7,9) decreases (minus) Since it is HIGH RISK, you add 5 numbers that have the highest value (Low Risk? Add 5 lowest. Medium Risk? Add the numbers that have value from 50 to 100 Neutral

So from that numbers that the thing generated the highest numbers are 200, 191,180, 171 and 159, add them.

Divide the sum by 2... you get an increase of that number on your stock market Neutral
