Since the routine updating and maintaining by a few of the admins is often low profile and sometimes isn't well-liked, I've decided to compile all those changes into a thread. I will post any changes made to the forums here and allow everyone to view them and comment. This should give a nice history of the changes made and open up the process a bit.
So, to kick this off, I'll highlight a few changes I've made in the past week or so.
Firstly, I've changed the USNW text logo at the top of the forums to be holiday themed.

Not sure if I'm sticking with that pattern. There will also probably be some more holiday stuff as we get closer to the 25th.
I also made some efforts to unify the forum design.
First, I edited the CSS to style the default html buttons used in the site, most notable as the Send/Preview buttons for messages, like the other buttons on the forums. They are the dark grey color that matches the moderation buttons (not everyone can see those) and the forum background.

Lastly, I changed most of the contact field icons to custom icons that fit with the style of the site and hid some fields that weren't really used. (Who still uses ICQ?) As part of this I also changed the online/offline icon to fit in.
