I've gone and changed my mind again. But I don't want to kill this off, so instead I'm applying this to be an NPC country. Tahak will remain off the coast of northern Kuyrut and be an available NPC nation, which I'm not claiming.

Tahak's Location


History
Centuries ago when Insulonian colonists landed on the two islands while attempting to colonize what is now current day Kuyrut and Shayden, the first villagers establishing farming towns stumbled upon caves in the mountains in the center of the island. In one of the larger caves, explorers discovered walls carved by man and writings scratches into the walls. The caves were only discovered by a few and were soon forgotten during the wars for independence that spread across Kuyrut, Shayden and Acadia. Colonists on the two islands won independence along with Kuyrut, without much fighting and thought they were safe on their own little landmasses. Wanting to progress, the colonists on Tahak and Traynok banded together to form a single sovereign state to prosper off the land. It wasn't until the mid 1800's that interest in the caves rose again and archaeological digs sprung up in and around the sites. Having found two different distinct words on cave walls on both islands, rough translating with modern day dialects places the west island's word as "Traynok", and the east island's word as "Tahak". Shortly after, the island's previously given names were changed to what was thought to be their original names.

So this is my NEW secondary nation I want to do. It'll be a lot easier for me because it's islands in a "North American" sphere of influence. I wanted to go creative with the names and have it be remnants of a previous Tribal society long forgotten, but not entirely due to the remains found in several caves in the islands mountains. More images will appear when I start city developing sometime soon.

Should this be Ambassadorial? It's really just these two islands with not many people so I didn't know what membership it would qualify for, but then again there IS Dan's Grand & Belluterra. Razz You think i should change it?

That flag is awesome! :DAlthough, I would remove the stars and that green part because it is really similar to Folland.

Those regions are incredible.  Did you make them yourself?  And we haven't seen any city pictures yet, but it goes without saying, if you're tropical you may want to move your location up to the north a bit. Wink

There's a lot of flags that are similar to others in the world, and this one is different enough from Folland's to be fine Jack. Razz And I'm not aiming to be tropical, which is why I chose my climate as Oceanic, also note the whitecapped mountains.

And like I also stated, there will be simcity images when i start city developing. C'mon dude read the posts. Razz
