Widest at the equator and shortest near the poles. Aren't spheres swell?

Seeing that map, just makes me want to see giant arrows stabbing Acadia from all directions. No offense. Razz

Looking at that map again, it is really unrealistic. Marqualis and Mitron aren't there, and in there place are some Cilician tiny island nations. The ocean must be wider than that.

And LOL Mike. Razz I had some green arrows stabbing Acadia, but those are the good guys. If any other arrows stabbed Acadia, then there would probably be a whole lot stabbing others coming out of Shayden.

Its an older map, band also the distance between Kuyrut and Okaiken is 100x greater than Alaska and Russia + we have are near poles (thet map has some weird islands north, but still)

Hot dayum would yah look at all that nothingness.

I have to kinda agree with Jack. From that view, the islands might reach half, or 3/5ths of the way to Okaiken. But there would definitely be some open ocean.

Can I buy one of those globes off yah Jack? Razz

No, they're still the same size; just curved to make a sphere.

No, the reason why those islands were there were to explain human expansion into Euphemia, human contact towards Euphemia wouldn't appear for thousands of years later.

And how did you make the globe? Did you use dimensions of the earth and made a comparable globe?

The maps you made are not in a Mercator Projection. Razz

There are a lot of spaces on your map because Photoshop reads the image from edge to edge, that is why you get that black space on the original image. I originally made a Mercator image of Adonia and found out that there is a tolerance of around 500-600 miles from Mainland Kuyrut to Okaiken.

As you can see in this map, while Okaiken's coast looks far away from Kuyrut, notice how Kuyrut (even Folland) is cut off in the left. that means land would appear on the right. Additionally, Kuyrut Islands would go as far as the Island of Mito in Okaiken.

In conclusion, Kuyrut and Folland has land West of the Prime Meridian.

The black space is just the light. Razz It moves when rotated.

Forth: I made the globe in Photoshop by converting the map into a sphere.

I'll try to make more spheres so we can figure this out.

Because I was bored, and came upon this sweet gem again, I decided to make it's mark in the new Wiki. So here is the page for our beautiful, severely god modded, continuity error ridden, end of the world filled Alternate World War.

Enjoy.

And feel free to add to it if you want. I'll be filling in the Folland parts if I continue to be bored, which is still very, very likely to happen.
