New Member Issue

So I gotta ask,

I've got a girlfriend who I'd like to maybe get in on our little community and apply for maybe Observer or one of those smaller ones, so she can be a part of Adonia.

Problem: She can't play Simcity4.

She has a copy of it, but it's the PC version, (she's on a Mac). But it'd be cool to have her join the forum and be a part of it. So question:

Can someone apply for a rank below Full member while not a Simcity4 player?

Observer, you have no idea how lenient these guys get when it comes to observerships. I mean honestly, I haven't updated once since I became an observer and people sure don't seem to mind!

Just do a couple offhand pictures for her and she'll get in and neeeeever have update again. Trust me

I suppose it would be alright, as long as she's relatively active in the forums and has a couple of in-game pictures in her application; it doesn't even have to be from SimCity 4 (this union accepts any other city-building game CJs in addition to SC4 ones, although we've only ever gotten one so far - Dantanaea, which is CXL).

Oh, and Bigro? I'd suggest that you post at least a couple of pictures - maybe from your INOP CJ? - if you're thinking about keeping your observership through the next couple of months, since a member cleanup is planned for sometime soon. I can reset your Activity Index for you if you do so.

As people pointed out, Mike, you can do a couple of SC4 pictures and all she needs is to participate in the forums and you are a-ok!

Yes, it would be "Vyntastic". But you can call her Kristina, or Krissy.

I guess I could make a city or two for her. She expressed interest in being an Althenian Nation. But alas, my playstyle is North American. >_>
